Department of Design, 

Established in 2018 within the Iğdır University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, the Department of Design adopts an educational approach that integrates the aesthetic, functional, and technical dimensions of design. The department's primary objective is to train qualified technical professionals who—in light of current technological advancements—possess a command of contemporary design principles, are capable of creative thinking, and can analyze design problems to develop original, viable solutions.Iğdır Üniversitesi Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulu bünyesinde 2018 yılında kurulan Tasarım Bölümü, tasarımın estetik, işlevsel ve teknik boyutlarını bir araya getiren bir eğitim anlayışına sahiptir. Bölümün temel amacı; güncel teknolojik gelişmeleri ışığında; yaratıcı düşünebilen, tasarım problemlerini analiz ederek özgün ve uygulanabilir çözümler geliştirebilen, çağdaş tasarım anlayışına hâkim nitelikli teknik elemanlar yetiştirmektir.
